Keawe writes stories incorporating horror, suspense, and sometimes fantasy. No romance ends well in her tales. Dogs may be endangered, but they always survive and thrive. She is a clumsy but avid hiker, an archer, and is owned by her beloved huskies, Koa and Kai. Geology and mycology are also obsessions. Overall, it’s safest to beware of loose stones, soaring arrows, and flying fur in her vicinity. Keawe splits her time between Hampton Roads, Virginia, and the Big Island, Hawai’i. She is a member of Tidewater Writers, Hawai’i Writers Guild, and the Horror Writers Association.
